Patricia S Kraemer, MD
Dr. Kraemer is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing medicine in the Madison area since completing her residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in 1988. She started her Internal Medicine practice with Physicians Plus Medical Group in 1988. When that practice merged with UW Health, she held a faculty appointment to the Medical Staff in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. The past few years she has provided patient care as a float physician, working at several of the surrounding UW Health Internal Medicine and Immediate Care Clinics.
Dr. Kraemer is interested in all aspects of women's health, from preventive care to comprehensive management of multisystem disorders. She is especially excited to work with a group of physicians dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for women.
Dr. Kraemer is married to Dr. Michael Strassman, a pathologist. They have three children, two sons and a daughter. She is an enthusiastic supporter and cheerleader in all of their activities, from hockey, soccer, and baseball to rock music concerts and dance competitions. As a family, they enjoy many activities including water and snow skiing. They spend as much time together as their busy schedules allow, but especially love spending time at their lake cabin and on the water, whether it's boating and skiing or ice fishing and skating.
