
Kimberly Bergeron, MD, FACOG
Dr. Bergeron grew up in the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming. She graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology. She then conducted research in HIV antibodies at the Scripps Research Institute before attending Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Bergeron then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2004. During residency she was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu honor society for academic excellence and volunteer work. She also served as Chief Resident and was the recipient of the Teacher of the Year award for excellence in teaching medical students and other residents.
Dr. Bergeron has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology with Melius, Schurr & Cardwell since 2004 after completing her residency training. She is a Board Certified Fellow in the College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Bergeron's practice includes the complete scope of Obstetrics and Gynecology and women's health with special interest in:
- High risk OB and pre-term labor.
- Urogynecology, incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.
- Use of ultrasound in gynecologic disorders.
- Adolescent gyn health and screening.
Dr. Bergeron and her husband Serge live in Verona with their children. The family enjoys the many outdoor activities in Verona and the surrounding area and can often be found at the park, the lake, the zoo or just enjoying the weather out in the backyard.
