Primary Care for Women

primary health care

Our primary care providers at Phases For Women focus only on the care of women – all the nuances, systems, and lifestyle stressors that impact them and affect their health. We actively partner with our patients and have a long-term vision for their wellness. At our women’s clinic, we know that a well woman means well families, well communities, and a life lived well.

Patients wishing to see Lainy Rosenberg, MSN FNP with Phases- our Primary Health Care for Women group of providers should call directly at (608) 227-7007 to schedule their appointments. Thank you!

Primary Care Examinations

Primary Care examinations are performed annually and help determine the status of your overall health. This allows our primary care providers to partner with you on your way to wellness. Our clinic allows patients to schedule these appointments up to one year in advance.

Internal Medicine

General Gynecological Examinations

Similarly, general gynecological examinations provide an overall assessment of gynecological health. Our patients are conveniently referred to our partner obstetricians and gynecologists at Physicians For Women (located on the main level of our building) for more extensive gynecological services including the management of urinary incontinence, abnormal bleeding, infertility, pelvic pain, and abnormal pap smears to name just a few.

Focus of Preventative Care

In general, the focus of a preventative visit is to make sure you are up to date with health screenings like mammograms and colonoscopies, screening blood tests, and immunizations. It is also a time to discuss healthy lifestyle habits. Vital signs like heart rate, blood pressure, height, and weight are recorded, however, a physical exam may be included depending on your health care needs.

Preventative Health Screenings

In each phase of our life our health needs change, and so do the preventative health screenings

Urgent Health Care

Although patients are encouraged to plan their visits, we understand that urgent health concerns arise. Our on-staff triage nurse is available to help you schedule appointments, including same-day appointments when necessary.

Referrals

Should your treatment require referral to another specialist for care, rest assured that we are here to help. Our physician and staff will help navigate the often confusing and intimidating healthcare systems, coordinate appointments, and answer questions along the way.
